Crooks

This firm sets up garnishment for so many days and even thought it is paid in full the remainder of the 6 months they continue to send letters to your employer and continue to take money from your paycheck and there is nothing you can do the law defends these crooks then once the 180 days are up they will probably come up with more charges so you will never get them paid

Garnishment over something twenty years old and filed in Noble County Courthouse

Ive been divorced for 20 years from Rodney Grant . He lived in Noble County and I didnt .

Plus I changed my name with the divorce and Im not responsible for his debts . Plus he remarried and I have no ideal how many times. They then sock a 20% interest on the account which amounts to 3,311.53 rip off fees, on top of attorney fees and court cost. I have no means of repaying this obscene bill .

I have no steady income and I live my daughter and take care of my grandkids. I havent read nothing but bad reviews about this law firm and I contacted with email. There is no reason for them to threaten me with garnishment. I dont want my SS touched.

I have Medicaid now so do really think I can pay this.

No. Im not a customer Im somebody they decided to sue for something 20 years old.

Love Beal And Nixon PC - Horrible, lying, thieves, unethical, scam artists
They file a garnishment on me every 6 months. I originally had an agreement signed and submitted to them and to the court that I agreed to pay a monthly payment. After about 6 months of payment, they sent their first garnish for around $1100. They cleaned out my bank account. Then 6 months later they submitted another for $541 and 2 months ago they sent another for $600. I only owed about $1200 to begin with. Now, they keep emailing me other people’s garnishment cases they’re filing. I don’t know why I am getting these emails but it’s fishy and unlawful. They’re sharing complete strangers person info such as employment and residence and name. The phot I submitted below is of an email I received of some person I don’t know.

My debt was paid and they keep trying to steal money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
They have garnished my bank 3 times now, they send out a garnishment every 6 months. I had a debt for about $1100 which the 2 garnishments paid for but they show I still owe $800. It’s like they garnish my account and pocket every dime. I get no documentation about what I’ve paid, they won’t answer my questions and they keep emailing me lawsuits they filed for people all over the state with their personal info including their addresses and workplace. Like, why am I receiving these emails? That alone should be a lawsuit against them. I will never be able to pay off this debt if they refuse to pay it off. They steal everything I have. I’m about to go to the lawyers house with the police with documentation of the debt owed, the payments I have made on top of what they garnished and with the emails they keep sending me for others peoples private information. I am gathering what I can and sending it to the court to because I’m sick of their *** They think people are too scared to fight back and for the most part, they have been right because people don’t know their rights. They’ve pissed me off way too many times for me to be afraid of them.

Garnished, paid off, then garnished some more?

I got a credit card to get a free pizza from Capital One. I was using it to build credit for the future. They were on a college campus to get people to sign up. First lesson learned... Capital One waited until there was a balance close to the credit limit, then tripled the interest rate. Lesson 2, don't get a credit card (they are all frauds)... I refused to pay it. My fault, so they sued me about 8-10years later. Ok I owed the money. By then it was over $2500 on a $1300 credit limit. By then the company was Midland *** Lesson 3, don't refuse to pay a debt. Love, Beal, and Nixon got the case. I didn't go to court, lesson 4, Always go to court, especially when it's an 8 year debt... So they got ONE wage garnishment order. I was like "well they got me" so I paid it off after a year. Now another garnishment order that I've never seen shows up at my job. It's something like $300 so I'm thinking well I guess that's their garnishment order fees that the court document mentioned. I called the job to ask why my check was short because I got no order myself. They said Love, Beal, and Nixon ordered the garnishment. I don't actually care what the much smaller fee is, but it better be the last. Let me make this clear...this had better be the last time I hear from Love, Beal, and Nixon, Midland financing, Capital One, for life. Laws are really nice things to have to protect people. But the problem with law is when somebody decides they don't care what the law says. I want to be clear again, some things are worth even dying over. I had better not hear from them again. Before you crank out another theft order think VERY hard about if it's actually worth stealing from the wrong debtor. Our paycheck isn't a free grab for you. I consider the debt and this mess behind me after that 2nd garnishment is closed. You better find somebody else to steal from.

Ex employee

I was told so many things before I was hired but little did I know how prejudice this lady Linda was. I wasn't even there 3 months and was let go for no reason. The training is ridiculous she helps only if she likes you. Nothing is confidential so it they take you to another room to talk to you ,you better believe everyone one knows your business. Linda is a very unprofessional Supervisor and has no respect for anyone. One time we were talking about food and her exact words were "I HATE MEXICAN" NOT I HATE MEXICAN FOOD OR I HATE MEXICAN CANDY!! SO it's very obvious that she hates Mexican. She treats certain people with some kindness but otherwise your nothing to her. She has fired and yet rehired her friends who have drug additions. As far as the owner I was told he doesn't really care he feels that everyone is replaceable. This is the worst place to work for, now if they get rid of Linda it just might be worth it otherwise who wants to work for a person who abuses her authority or bully's people. Not me.

Account Manager

This is the worst company to work for. Linda who is the Supervisor in charge of collection's is a racist and if she doesn't like you then expect to not be there long. Training is ridiculous they expect you to learn everything in less than 1month. I was there less than a month when Linda made the comment that she hated Mexican those were her words exactly " I hate Mexican". She loves bulling people to the point that they are scared to lose their job. I really thought that the owner Mr. Nixion would have more to do with his collection people but he doesn't. They have a big turn around due to the fact that the Supervisor is a real *** I advise anyone who is even considering to work here to look into it and ask questions.

Wish there was NO star option...These guys are the worst. Don't go to them for any reason whatsoever. I'm dealing with them for debt collection and they are the worst compared to others. They'll slap on every kind of tax and fees possible on top of what you may already owe. Customer service is a complete joke and they never answer any of my emails. I was paying what their website said I could do as a minimum, but apparently that pissed them off and they tried to serve me new papers even though I was paying them off. So my minimum went from $10 to $135. Bastards.

Rude and unprofessional

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I tried to reason with the lady that I can't afford payments they were setting up and she refused and said they will come after my house, car, bank, etc......I have called them several times and given them full accounts of my expenses and income without any resolution. I am lone income in a family of 4 and can't afford their payment, they don't care.

Companies like these should be banned from operating. They are so insensitive almost animal like.

During this process I have also had to call them several times and they don't answer, left VMs to no vail. Very frustrating when you have limited time during the day as you are working to call them and call them and call them until you can get someone.

Garnished extemp funds

Over a year ago, the company received documentation that my only income sources were social security and teacher retirement. In December 2017, they garnished my account for my mortgage payment, and even though they were notified again that my income sources were exempt, they refused to return the funds. They tend to go after people who are in dire straights and even cause them to lose their homes. The account they are trying to collect is over 5 years old, and it is no longer owned by the original owner. When my husband become extremely ill, was dying, medical bills increased. I couldn't pay credit card account. They waited over 4 years before trying to collect, after my husband died.

Bad bad bad

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Back in February of 2017 they sent my husband a form to make payment arrangements. We filled it out and took it to our local courthouse. The court clerk said that we would get a response back within a month if they approve our payment amount. Didnt hear anything till today saying we failed to make payments and they would take further action. I called their office and no answer. What law office doesnt at least have a receptionist to answer the phone. This place is b.s.

Wage Garnishment

I was under wage garnishment from Love, Beal, Nixon (pathetic people & place) and lost my job, now I am getting unemployment payments and food stamps, and without me knowing or them contacting me, they took $440 out of my bank account when that's all I had, I had scheduled payments too, and that caused me 6 overdraft fee's of $35 each, they don't even contact you or set up payment plans or anything. Pathetic! Now I am -$600 in my bank account, and going to close out my account cause I don't know what and when they will do next. This is so horrible and has messed up my life.

Not paying fast enough

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been paying this "lawyer's" firm every month for more than six months, then I find out they went to court and took out another judgement for more money. I have never been served even though the judgement was done April 25th. Why did they feel the need to go to court when they were already being paid....Not paying fast enough for them apparently. They are known as less than legal, legal firm. They never go by the law, will screw anyone, and the Oklahoma city judges are too lazy to look into anything.

Now I have to go back to court and fight this fight, lose time from work, not be able to pay rent, just because I wasn't paying fast enough.

It's unfortunate they think they are doing a good job.

They're screwing me over right now and garnishing my wages after emptying my checking account 3 times! I tried to make arrangements with them 7 or 8 years ago.

The worst part is that it's from a credit card I got in like 2001 with a maximum amount of $3,000 and now they say I owe $16,000 total! SMDH I have no idea what to do...
